For 30 years, the programs of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California (RMHCSC) have been committed to improving the health and well-being of local children through a variety of wellness and educational programs. In communities across the Southland, RMHCSC is making a positive difference for children and families in need. |

For over 25 years, the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House has been supporting families of seriously-ill children who have needed a place to stay close to their loved ones being treated at hospital. To date, we have served more than 20,000 families to make it though a very uncertain time in their lives. |

Bakersfield Memorial Hospital has undergone a vast transformation since its opening in 1956. Once a small community hospital, BMH is now a regional medical center offering nationally-recognized departments and services. We're especially proud of our cardiovascular program, the Family Care Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and our surgical services in orthopedics, neurosurgery and general surgery. Today, our 307-bed facility serves patients throughout Kern County and beyond. |

Walk for Kids is a 5k walk designed to raise funds and awareness for the services provided by the Ronald McDonald House at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. All walkers are encouraged to involve family, friends, co-workers and business associates in support of their participation in the Walk. |

We believe that when you change a child’s life, you change a family’s, which can change a community, and ultimately the world We don’t do it alone. We rely on our Chapters to identify needs and carry out our mission on the ground. We rely on our strong relationships with the medical community to provide access to health care.
